Complaints are a part of everyday life. However, how they are handled and reviewed can lead to different outcomes! This course is intended to support schools and governing bodies in managing formal complaints received at the school.
This targeted training session includes specific and detailed guidance on Governor responsibilities, key resources and best practice related to complaints management. Participants will have the opportunity to discuss and explore a range of complaints scenarios. The content is directly aligned with the ESCC model Complaints Policy & Toolkit and includes guidance on when and how to contact GCS for further advice for more complex complaints.
