Course description

This is an opportunity for governors and clerks to come together to look at practical ways that complaints can be resolved in schools. Governors, including headteachers, and clerks will be able to discuss different approaches and share best practice when resolving complaints. This session is open to any governor or clerk who finds themselves in need of some support or guidance around managing the complaints process. Headteachers may also find this session useful if they need support to manage a complaint at stage one to gain some support in resolving a complaint early so it does not escalate to the latter stages of the complaints process. Experienced members of the East Sussex Governors Forum and East Sussex Local Support Governors will be available to offer guidance and best practice.
